Pretty cool interview with one of the greastest designers around and a personal favorite already featured on this blog.

Sebastian Horsley was a freak of nature. And a damn good one. He was a known dandy (although too excessive to really fit the category), the first westerner to be crucified in the Philippines and a confessed class A drugs and prostitution addict.

He died from a drug overdose, at the age of 47, in June 2010 but left us with is “unauthorized autobiography”, “Dandy in the Underworld”. A must read.

Enjoy the Interview. A sneak peak of Sebastian’s wit.

Personal favourite bit:

“I: You said you spent 90% of your money on prostitutes and 10% on class A drugs?

S: No!

I: It was the other way around?

S: No!

I: So, what’s the equation?

S: I didn’t spend it. I invested it!”

Pure genious.

For those of you, like myself, who are suckers for dogs, advertising and slow motion features (and, in fact, for everyone else) here’s a great Pedigree (yes, the dog food) TV ad.

Featuring Lapo himself. Proving that I-I lives is definitely a one man brand.

The presentation of a new Italia Independent collection is always a must see, although in my opinion this is not their most exciting collection.

Nonetheless, Holding Nothing made a great job, especially with the “invisible men” feature.

Because Puma knows that not everybody can be a professional athlete or go to the gym.

And because leisure and sport should always go together.

If you can’t get a kick out of it, it’s just pointless. No matter how competitive you are.

The Adam Kimmel clip for their Casino-themed A/W 2010 collection presentation.

The masks were a pretty good idea. And I love the double breasted jackets and tuxedos.

Kimmel is definitely a name to watch in American fashion.

You’ve probably seen this before, but it seemed pretty insightful even for a blog named Yuppie Living.

Scott Schuman, a.k.a. The Sartorialist, talks about fashion blogging.

Here is my video (videos, really) of the week.

This is part of an episode of the famous Dean Martin Roast tv show. This is real comedy, light years away from the crap appearing on TV nowadays.

And that Don Rickles is probably the funniest, meanest, guy on earth. I can’t stop watching. I can’t stop laughing.
